Hugh’s primary interest is non-invasive (or ‘superficial’) bladder cancer. He has been one of the first urologists in the UK to introduce several new techniques for this condition including administration of chemotherapy in theatre, electromotive drug administration for bladder chemotherapy and blue light cystoscopy. He has also lectured and published on the subject.
Hugh’s other interest is (kidney) stone disease, following training in minimally invasive techniques for this condition at the stone unit of the Institute of Urology.
