Welcome to Urology Partners
As the impact of COVID-19 continues to evolve and change, we will provide up to date information for our patients here. Following advice from the Department of Health and Public Health England, our practice for consultations and procedures is as follows:
As of 19/08/2020
Consultation appointments with all our consultants continues to be via telephone or video consultations where possible. However we are able to offer a face-to-face appointment if required in the majority of the hospitals we practice in. Please call the secretary of the consultant you need to see and they will update you with what is available. All contact numbers are available on the Contact Us page.
The same applies for diagnostics and elective surgery - only the time critical and emergency procedures can be carried out and this is reviewed daily with the hospitals. All of our consultants work within the NHS and they are all actively involved in working in their NHS posts and assisting in the critical care of COVID-19 as a priority.
Our secretaries are all now working remotely to reduce risk and footfall into the hospitals, but are all contactable by email or phone and will do their best to answer your questions and deal with your appointments and queries as quickly as they can. Whilst the hospitals we work in are opening up more for private procedures, please refrain from calling the secretaries frequently to request procedure dates. They are working through their waiting lists and will be in contact with you if they are able to offer you a procedure date. Please be aware that at some hospitals, any patient offered a procedure will be required to have between two weeks and 72 hours self isolation (depending on their health and procedure) prior to coming into the hospital and will be tested for Covid prior to their procedure.
We will continue to do all we can to keep our patients and staff safe at this time.
